it's ok

man even if you have bass going on in your leads you should still be able to find a way to put a bass behind it. part of being a "techno" musician is that you keep learning new shit as you go along no matter how long you make it for. your style and methodology keeps growing. and improving. that's my experience though anyway.

imo you should be able to find a way to synthesize a bass that will work for this.

either way it doesnt have enough going on in it imo but i listen to psychedelic trance so whatever. it's good for the audio portal i guess. maybe throw in some polyphony rhythmage though? it has potential if you put more in to it.

in my opinion it's pretty good BUT...i think if 1:39-1:42 would have repeated itself a few times instead of changing notes throughout the entire pattern that it would have sounded much better(to me anyway) also you may wanna think about POSSIBLY replacing the closed hi hat with an open hi hat then putting some low DB hi hat in the background for more filler. i'm not exactly sure how it would sound but it's an idea right? other than that though this song is good :)
i especially liked the kick. it wasn't just the simplistic norm we hear in the majority of techno songs.

My fear that putting a open hat in place of the closed is that the background would get to "splashy." I agreed about making the part more repetitious but I have a tendency to make my songs to repetitious, so I didn't test the waters here. Yeah, I had fun with the kick. Thanks for your review.

this is fucking TIGHT man. nice. i'm really digin this right now. very nice job man. only problem i see with it could be the beginning maybe but then again you've gotta have an intro somehow. i'm downloading this and i know it's gonna get a high number on my itunes listen count haha. very good man keep it up like this :)
